Building Overview

613 Herald, known as the "Cityzen" building, is located in the Design District of downtown Victoria. Completed in 2018, this building was one of the last builds with the coveted "transient zoning," allowing owners to use their units as full time short term rentals.

Cityzen is a modern short term rental building that consists of 34 units over 6 storeys. Expect monthly gross revenue of $4,000 for 1 bedroom units and upwards of $10,000 per month for the top floor penthouse units. Virtually all of the units in this building are being used as a short term rental, as it was one of the last buildings to receive the transient zoning designation before the City of Victoria changed the definition in 2017.
